Ok, Give me like 2 seconds...
For the past 25 years of my life, I have always had a weird infatuation with cars. If you know me, you know I fangirl and nerd out about cars all the time. My father has been a big influence because he took me to every single NY International Auto show ever since i’ve been born. I loved the Auto show and sitting in all of these cool cars so much, that it is still a tradition that my father and I partake in. I remember sitting in the back seat of my parent’s car staring out the window. Naming every single car that went by and almost breaking my neck with excitement, drooling every time I saw a supercar go by. It’s actually funny because till this day, I still almost break my neck and drool over the supercars I see while I am driving or in the car with someone else haha!!
But, what hit the nail on the coffin for me was having the opportunity to drive one of my favorite cars (McLaren 720s). It was such a surreal moment that i thought i would never be able to experience. I have never been in such a state of bliss and adrenaline where I wanted to cry because of how happy I felt.
Growing up around cars has shown me how beautiful a piece of machinery can be, old or brand spanking new. It is sometimes unfathomable that a materialist thing can create a sense of community and bring all types of people together regardless of race, age, or gender.
So, for that reason, I took it upon myself to capture the beautiful machinery that we rely on so heavily. Doesn’t matter whether your car has been sitting in a garage for the past 40 years or you just drove it off the lot; if you spent $500 or $5,000,000 on your car, there is a story to be written through the cars immaculate beauty.
Beauty is worth capturing.
Let’s capture it together.
