This car is a true masterpiece! The McLaren Speedtail is like no other car you’ve seen before (trust me when I say that, I’ve seen a ton of cars). A cool little trick with this car is that the doors are motorized, so you can automatically have the doors open with just a push of a button on the key. Everything about this car is unconventional. Its 3 seat layout interior, it’s side cameras that replace the conventional side mirrors. It’s wheel discs, its slippery shape, the list can go on forever. This car can do 250 mph easily with the help of the 1036hp that this car has.
McLaren constantly decides to do the one thing that other auto manufacturers are afraid to do. Lately, Mclaren has been breaking the automotive formula that has been around forever which is Form over Function. McLaren has been following Function over Form for some time now. If you don’t believe me, look at the senna and the 720s. It is just now that manufacturers are realizing that this is the way to push the envelope of cars to reach the next benchmark of automotive discovery.
I will say, I absolutely love this car (partly because I’m a McLaren fanboy), but I will also say that this car was HARDDDD to photograph. My job is usually easy when you give me a stunning car because it’s actually harder to make a stunning car look worse than it is to make that stunning car look good. This car has a lot of awkwardly unphotogenic angles which in my opinion don’t do that car justice. But my overall opinion on this car is that it has so much presence, and its shape makes it mysterious to people who don’t know cars. Hopefully, you like the photos below. Enjoy!
