Peter’s Type-R

This car belongs to a good friend of mine named Peter. I met peter my freshman year of college, and since then, we have been great friends. One of the things that brought Peter and I close together was our love for cars. I think when we met, I was into cars a little more than he was because i was more exposed to different types of cars and Peter lived in an area where he did not get to see many types of cars. But, when you put to guys together that both have a love for cars, they are destined to become good friend and learn from each other. When I met Peter, he drove a 2010 Ford F-150 XLT. Peter was not stingy with his truck like some people are with their cars. Whenever i needed to go somewhere, Peter was so willing to drive me there or he would just throw me the keys and say, “just find me a nice parking spot.” That F-150 became a little infamous at our college with the American eagle decal on the back window and his plasti-dipped black rims.

Peter graduated semester before I did and got a good job out of college. When we got together with friends during the summer, I saw little black Honda Civic Si pull into your friends driveway and instantly, I was confused. I am the type of person that memorize the cars all my friends drive so that if I see them on the road or in a parking lot, I know who’s car it is. In this case, I had no idea who this person was pulling into the driveway. I turn to my friends and Im like, “Who the hell is that?” The door opens and what do you know, its the truck driver! One thing you have to know about truck drivers is that once a truck driver drives a pick up truck, they usually never buy anything else other than pick up trucks (stereotypically speaking). In April of this year, during the pandemic, Peter texts me and asks me, “What do you thing about the Type-R?” I was honest with him like I am with all my friends and said to him, “They look OK, but i am just not crazy about them and I don’t know too much about them.” At the end of April i get another text from Peter that says……. “I traded in my Si for a Type-R.” I asked him why and he said that he got a deal that he could not refuse. Since Peter has bought that car, he when from being a pick up driver to thinking he’s Lewis Hamilton hahaha! He also said to me, “Tev, I need pictures of it.” For me, that was not a problem at all. Photographing this car has changed my thoughts of this car. It drives great, its a ton of fun to drive, and all the angles make that car look amazing. Congrats on the car Pete! Hope you like the photos and enjoyed the photoshoot we had. Hope you enjoy the car even more because that car is sick!
